Purchasing

All purchasing is done through Oceanography Staff. See how to purchase and review compliance.

Understand online security

We have an online security policy. It's long! Here are highlights:

Change your passwords regularly.
Don’t save passwords on your computer.
Delete regularly - especially FERPA information.
Use VPN when accessing UW systems including email when off campus.
Protect and lock up your computing equipment to prevent theft.
Do not download and save to computer/laptop. Save to the UW IT cloud.
