A thank you to the students from Mark

Well, we are in San Diego and the expedition is ending.  On behalf of all the instructors I wanted to take a moment and thank the students for their absolute brilliant performance over the past three weeks.  From the shelter in place period in Honolulu, to the endless watch cycle, I have been deeply impressed with your positive attitudes, your willingness to put in the long hours, and your ability to see beyond the seasickness and the sore muscles to the importance of your scientific adventures.  You are the reason I am a scientist and professor - you drive me to be better than I ever thought possible and it is you that make my academic life worthwhile.  Thanks, Mark.
