Follow Along!

The senior thesis cruise is sailing on the Thomas G. Thompson from Honolulu to San Diego! The transit will take a total of two weeks including stopping north of Hawaii at Station Aloha and the volcanic fields; as well the transect is through the Great Pacific Garbage patch. There are 17 students and 4 professors aboard. The students had a weeklong shelter in place in Hawaii. After three covid tests all students were cleared and boarded the ship. The Thompson leaves Hawaii December 18th, 2021 from the Honolulu Harbor and arrive in California December 30th.
