the mapping plan
We've left the dock at the University of Hawaii and are now mapping the shelf/slope off the north end of the island of Molokai. Maleen and Andrea are helping from shore, and the seas haven't been as rough as Rick said that they would be, but a couple of us are still down with seasickness. We will be mapping from now (Friday evening) until late Saturday night, after which we will head south for our first water sampling station.
