Tracking Natal pulse to the spawning of Agulhas ring - My thesis looks at a Natal pulse from its first sighting (September 2019) on the northern east coast of South Africa and following its tracks to the Agulhas bank region to observe if it this particular Natal pulse had triggered the spawning of the Agulhas ring that was visited during the senior cruise on January 2020
What was your best memory from the school of Oceanography?
Going down Puget Sound waters in a submarine for work I was doing with Paul Johnson
What was your favorite oceanography class and why?
OCEAN 100. I took it during my first quarter at UW and it helped me solidify my decision to join the School of Oceanography and the rest was history. No regrets. Grateful for that class, and Michelle Townsend and Mikelle Nuwer!
What has been your go to way to connect to your classmates remotely?
The senior group chat on slack. Not an active responder but it's nice just reading updates from everyone
