Amrita sees joy in the night sky

One of the best parts about the cruise is the night sky. Away from land and light pollution, we can all truly appreciate the beauty of the sky and the stars. Every night, we’ve all been going out on the deck after dinner, in between our free time to see the stars and point out which constellation or planet catches our eye immediately. Doesn’t matter if we’re going at 13knots (super-fast) or 1knot (slow), the gorgeous sky still follows us, charms us, leads us to believe in our science and our shared mission to study and save this amazing planet.

I have tried with the best of my ability to capture the stars using my phone camera’s nightmode but maybe the boat rocking back & forth may have been my biggest enemy here. Shoutout to Heather’s star and constellation app which helped us identify the planet & stars.
