Currently working in Dr. Jody Deming's lab as a research assistant.
Senior thesis project focused on developing a novel, shipboard, contiunous incubation of the Equatorial Pacific microbial community. Other work involves culturing psychrophillic heterotrophic bacteria in batch and chemostat conditions.
Starting a PhD at the University of Tennessee Fall 2025 with Dr. Jill Mikucki. Work will focus on the microbiology of Antarctic pro and subglacial reservoirs, such as Don Juan Pond and Blood Falls.
