Our first in-person graduation ceremony in two years was on Thursday, June 9th. The Ph.D., graduate, and undergraduate students were all celebrated. The previous classes, 2020 and 20221, were also celebrated. The ceremony had amazing speakers with heartfelt messages about graduating during a global pandemic. Then each student got to have their name called, walk across the stage, shake Rick Kiel’s hand, and had their stoles placed upon them by Arthur Nowell. It was an amazing ceremony and one we want to remember forever. Here are the photos taken by Kathy Newell and collected from the students. Congratulations to all the amazing oceanographers and good luck on your next adventures.
