I proudly support the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion values of the School of Oceanography, the College of the Environment, and the UW. I represented Marine Operations as a member of the School of Oceanography DEI Committee from 2022-2023. We have implemented DEI evaluation criteria into the hiring rubrics of manager and supervisor positions within Marine Operations. I continue to take training and educate myself on these topics in order to better support these values within the School of Oceanography.
