Circulation, ecosystem and water quality dynamics in fjord estuaries, especially Puget Sound; tides as a renewable energy source
My research focuses on seasonal and interannual variablility of estuarine and fjord circulation, population connectivity in estuarine environments, and tide as a source of renewable energy. I use extensive numerical simulation in my research, as well as deductive approach from principles of physics.
