The 2023-2024 Senior Thesis Cruise is going to Pago Pago (pronounced pango pango), American Samoa!
We will fly out of Seattle to Honolulu on December 28th, bright and early at 7:00 am. After a long day of flying, we'll arrive to Pago Pago around 9:30 PM local time. On the 29th, we'll unload all of our gear that was packed up in October, and leave port in the afternoon.
We have a slew of exciting projects, from geological projects using radar beams, to physical projects looking at ocean sea surface height, to biological projects looking for viruses! Follow along with this blog to learn more about the amazing science our students will conduct!
