Class of 2024

Congratulations to the Class of 2024! Believe it or not, graduation season is upon us. A time of year when we come together to celebrate our graduates and their many accomplishments here at UW and the College of the Environment.

This year's graduation will be on Thursday, June 6, at the Urban Horticulture Center.  Please consider attending and cheering on our graduates.  It's a really fun event. Our commencement speaker this year is Dr. Sasha Seroy. Rick will also wax on poetic, let you know that he's proud of you, he'll miss having you around, and will welcome you to the world of being an alumnus. The School is still here for you, posting job openings and providing happy hours and events for alumni!  You are always welcome here – stop back often for a coffee or a chat.

College of the Environment Honors Class of 2024 Graduates

In appreciation of the 2024 College of the Environment graduating class, the College is partnering with the Campus Sustainability Fund to fund the Wapato Pond project for the UW Farm, a student powered urban farm that provides locally grown produce to UW students, staff, faculty and the greater community. This gift will help fund the development of Wapato Pond, a new growing space for the cultivation of aquatic, freshwater Indigenous food crops such as wapato, increasing the Farm’s food production and diversity of produce. We are excited to support this project and the increased sustainability of our Husky community. More information can be found here
