The Banse Oceanography Seminar Series is named in honor of Dr. Karl Banse, who was recently named as a AAAS fellow, honored for his continuing work on the ecology of the plankton. The 2019-2020 quarter-long seminar series was held during Winter Quarter (2020), organized by Dr. Jodi Young.
